“Hits and misses aside, there's a homey quality about this place that makes me want to give it another go for its yummy sounding sherperd's pie and ayam tempra. Curiously inviting, like an aunt's kitchen...

...Chef Judy redeemed herself with her signature dessert after which the cafe is named the Pralet cake. A neat block of creamy moisse and dark chocolate offset by a deeply crunchy hazelnut wafer base. As fun to devour as my favourite childhood chocolate bar: Kinder Bueno alternated with greedy licks of Nutella. Lovely with a spot of tea.

Testimonials from our happy and satisfied diners

We had seafood baked rice today and my friend and I wholeheartedly agreed it was the best we have eaten so far . We had to wait quite a while for our food but the wait was really worth it. This is because the rice was done from scratch and not like other places where you just spread some cheese on the rice and pop into the oven. The melted cheese was very generous and covered the rice very nicely. The rice was very fluffy and well flavoured and not too wet as with other baked rice I have eaten. Definitely will return again...

By the way, the cakes were very, very good especially Judy's signature cake, the Pralet.

I like the setting of the cafe which is very cosy and the food and presentation is also good. Price is also very reasonable....

We love the food and cakes here!  We tried the Claire Fointaine .....heavenly and yummmmmmmy! It has an unique flavour and has real Cointreau in it!!. And the seafood baked rice was really flavourful with real herbs and topped with cheese baked to perfection...
